I dont know how much help this will be to you but about three weeks ago my
daughter was diagnosed with Fifths disease, however my doctor described it as
a rash, on the body, that starts on the face then movies down the neck, and
the trunk, it lasted about a week, but as far as her being a carrier of strep,
i think i would recheck that again with your doctor, I was told that anyone
can get this, and that it was brought on by any viral infection, cold
etc....You may be wasting your time in keeping the dogs away from your
daughter.
