Joe, I think she meant rescuers shouldn't go out buying dogs from byb's and the likes. It only encourages them to continue cranking out puppies. Adoptors obtaining rescue pyrs should certainly pay for them for all of the reasons you noted. I know....it's early. I had to read the post twice. Colette
