Re: [PyrNet-L] pyr rescue question GENERAL

Susan,
I am currently working rescue here in AL. if i were to hear of a dog in need
of rescue that had bitten i would take the dog in myself and evaluate him to
see if he was truely aggressive or if this was a dominance issue...If a dog is
truely aggressive it would need to be put down...I got a call 3 days ago about
a male who has been killing baby sheep and the man who owns him said that he
will try to attack anyone who tries to approach his house.....Im not sure at
this point if the dog is aggressive or protective....He has never bit anyone
but that could be because the owner takes the dog away when someone comes to
his house....Once i get him here i will evaluate him and also have a friend of
mine who also does rescue to help me do this evaluation....This way we have 2
opinions in the matter and i know that any decision i make will be the correct
decision....I hope this tells you a little about how i do things here...
