Here's an article on dog aggression that may help at:
http://www.doggiedoor.com/aggressi.htm
What's important is if dog aggression is suspected seek
professional help. Treatment should really not be recommended
unless studied the dog, his environment, and his family in person.
Also, many dog trainers do not specialize in dog behavior, let alone
dog aggression. They only know the basics of training and maybe
behavior in most cases. Seek out and look for a qualified animal
behaviorist. There's a vast difference between just a trainer and a
qualified animal behaviorist. Don't be fooled by the claims of
trainers and look for the credentials folks.........
And IMO if you aren't willing to seek the professional help
necessary and do the work that might be necessary to turn a dog
around then euthanize the dog......
