As a new owner of a Pyr, I thought you would all appreciate the
experience we had
on Tuesday night. My wife had left "Belle" in her cage/crate for about 2
hours.
Upon her return she found the dog asleep on our bed, The shades and
curtains
were torn down from the windows (probaly to get a better view) and a
dried flower arrangement was littered around the room(redecorating).
Lesson learned No.1- Pyr's have separation anxiety.
Lesson No.2 - They will find a way out of anything.  My only regret was
not having
a video record of "Belle's" great escape. She found a way to pop the top
of the cage.
I have since bought 4 locks and I am confident she can no longer escape.

We also check her for bobby pins, paper clips etc. In cause she tries to
pick a
lock.
