This is exactly how all 3 of my male Pyrs are. They could care less who's boss and 
they'll go out of their way to avoid any kind of confrontation at all.

I rest my case as far as females<G>.  Give me a male anyday. Males seem to fight for 
the show, females fight to kill.

I don't know if neutering *would help your boys at this point. It's been going on too 
long and old habits are hard to break. It's worth a shot and it'll stop them from getting 
testicular cancer later on. And who knows, it very well may help their fighting if it's 
testosterone related.
