Fw: Fw: [PyrNet-L] dumb question/books
Mitzi
I am still laughing about your post, give me a male any day..males fight for
the show and females fight to kill. Yep,can't argue with that as that is
very true with my dogs. My males 2 of the three have sat on my female
Kala, basically just to put her down (in place) she will concede....until
she gets back up and then watch out...she goes for the throat.
Thank goodness my males do not want to kill her. It is just they are more
powerful, their only defense.
However, my best dog, the one that I can communicate with in any manner,
eyes, feelings, voice command is my female, Kala.
Her brother, Cody, runs a real close second. The differences is that my
male, Cody, will harm some small animals that my female, Kala, probably due
the mother instinct, would not. My Kala has fought Cody over a pet Bunny.
We thought our Kala was just being jealous over our pet bunny,...well, not
so, we went back outside after Kala had attacked Cody over the bunny, it
turned out that our Cody had punched his head thru our rabbit cage, crunched
the bunny and the poor bunny died during the night. Guess my female, Kala,
knew more than we, we thought he to be just curious..ha ha
My Cody, is my females brother. My parents due to health problems could no
longer keep Cody and I had always thought he was great. He was with my
mom's ducks, goats, etc...he had never been exposed to a Rabbit. It was a
little funny tho that night, our Cody played RCA, would not even look me in
the eyes, so I assume he knew chomping the pet bunny was not the thing to
do.
Their all great, just different.
