I sat here reading Patou's Journal with intermittent chills...what a marvelous
dog...what wonderful writing! Reading the journal gave me added respect for this
breed and an understanding of what farmers admire so in the Pyrs...I can
understand a bit more some of Willow's "habits"...once understood, one does not
come away with the feeling that those instinctual "moves" should be "trained
out"...Thank you so much for suggesting the reading...it has made my day!
