[PyrNet-L] CHAT: Those darned strange climactic phenomenons & Houdini-dogs

and it is pouring down raining again today!! When we, after 86 days
straight of rain, got one sunny day without rain yesterday I was afraid it
would not last as I know how those ol' strange climactic phenomenons occur:
First my neighbour washed his car!! I told my hubby under no circumstances
to either wash the car, or start burning the paper trash in the burn barrel,
or to take his utility trailer to the lumber yard and pick up lots of
sheetrock or something he doesn't want to get wet!!! All are guaranteed to
cause it to rain immediately!! Of course he DID plan a long mountain hike with
his Not-Quite-Over-The-Hill Gang for tomorrow. Now today it is raining like
crazy!! I am sure he and his hiking buddies and the neighbour are the ones to
blame!!! Of course me wanting to take lots of costumes to my new costume
design workshop on our property could also have played a part!! Now having to
load everything in storage bins with covers to transport them - a royal hassle
with everything on hangers and not really wanting them to get wrinkled. I now
look like a drowned rat. I loaded up the van with storage bins of costumes
and took the stuff down to the workshop. When the dogs realized I was going to
the workshop they started having a fit wanting to go, too. They are convinced
that the shop is supposed to be a big playhouse for them! But now that I have
costumes in there hanging up I do not want wet, muddy dogs shaking all over
them. So ignored their pleas and unloaded all the bins from van into
workshop. Then the ruckus stopped from the dogs and I thought maybe Mattie had
bawled out Albert enough to make him mellow out. Not a chance! Suddenly I
heard something at the sliding glass doors and looked up to see 2 very wet,
muddy dogs wanting in the shop!!! ARGH!! Both dogs had escaped their pen to
come to the shop. So I left most of the costumes in the bins wrinkling like
crazy and took the dogs back to the house!! Then fed, watered and dried them
a bit. Now feeding myself as well and taking a break to have some cocoa as I
am soaked, cold, frustrated and really wishing the sun would've lasted a while
longer & decided I need a break despite the costumes wrinkling like crazy out
there!
One day of sun was definitely not enough for me!!
