RE: [PyrNet-L] Rescue-- Texas --- once again

Hi Pam,

My name is Cindy and I live in the state of Washington. I am familiar with
your rescue work and think you are an angel in disguise! I have lurked on
several lists for many years not having alot of time to participate but have
learned much. I first learned of you on the homesteadwork list with Robin.
This is our situation. My husband, 22 year old daughter, 5 year old
daughter and myself have just purchased 5 acres in the country about 40
minutes from where we live now. We are getting ready to put up a goat barn
and a fenced yard. I do not feel that I could do justice to a Pyr now, but
would like to get one in about 6 months or so. I know that this does not
help your current situation, sorry.......

Do you know of a rescue operation in Washington, I live near Olympia. Or do
you ever ship your rescues? I need a dog that is very gentle with children.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
Cindy

Subject: [PyrNet-L] Rescue-- Texas --- once again

You all Texas has once again started to be over run with rescues. I
cannot keep up. There are two in Dallas shelters, two in Abilene, and
more. I have no room here. I have ask several people to foster. They
cannot. I have dogs here ready to go -- most will guard that I have but
not
on remote property. I need family farms to place these dogs. What is
really
sad is I had a couple wanting to adopt and they wanted a younger dog (most
of
mine are 2+ years old) They went to Dallas and bought a back yard bred dog
according to them cheap. Cheaper than my rescue fee which is only 100.00.
Please if you can help --- there is a male in Abilene that his days
are
numbered.
Pam
