[PyrNet-L] dental health

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on brushing
doggie teeth. Smokey's teeth are beginning to not look as clean as they
should and I would like to head off any dental problems. I am reluctant to
have his teeth cleaned by the vet and would like to avoid it. I brush his
teeth occasionally with an adult toothbrush but without anything on it.
Does anyone use the doggie toothpaste or any other methods? He eats dry
kibble and milkbones but I think the buildup is coming from the 1 can of
food I feed him per day as a treat.

Thanks to those who responded to my request to doggie daycare situations in
Delaware. I still have not found any but I now have been able to narrow
down the location I am living in to Newark, Delaware. So, if anyone knows
anybody who would be willing to take in Smokey during the day while I'm at
work, please post or email me privately. Smokey is a 3 year old, neutered
male who is well socialized around dogs and people. He is used to being
outside all day. He is well socialized but has problems with German
Sheperds, Dobermans and thunderstorms.

Thanks!
