We use a firm brush with a beef flavor paste and our's love it. The trick is to
get all the teeth clean not just part of them. Best to start when they are
little. We use a very large rubber bone placed in the back of the mouth from
cheek to cheek for them to bite on as we brush ( wife and I) Much like pepole
we make sure to clean all the teeth and the gum.Once a year we go over there
teeth with a scaler. If the teeth are real bad you may have to look into going
to the vet. unlees you feel you and yours can handle it being done by you and a
helper. Many years ago I had a dog that I did not keep the teeth clean and she
never ate can food but still had bad teeth. I think some just go bad and some
stay cleaner then others. Dry or can just does not seem to mater, but fresh
meat and veg help in the long run in keeping there teeth strong and clean, but
still brush. Just my thoughts and what we do.
