Give me 'things with long tails' any day!  I don't mind mice, rats, snakes
and spider and can live quite happily with them around (in reasonable
numbers anyway - mouse plagues are no fun at all) , but my biggest fear in
life (and yes, it is a pretty irrational one) is Cane Toads (Ugghh!!!!)
Those ugly, horrifically scary (for me anyway) creatures introduced into
Queensland many years ago to get rid of pests in the sugarcane fields, only
to become more of a pest themselves!  Just the mention of them sends me into
a sweat.

 I am only half joking when I say the reason I moved south to Canberra was
that there are no Cane Toads here! :-D
