Don't know about your situaion etc, but have had/seen some great success
here with acupuncture/pressure.  Have a great vet here who practices a
specialist dog chiropractor/acupuncturist etc.  Treats a lot of dogs here
and is referred to by a lot of vets in the area (including my own).  Have
seen a lot of 'sporting' injuries make improvements from this sort of
treatment and a few people I know who have dogs with HD etc swear by it as
an aid to pain relief and better movement.
