I hope you find something helpful here for Klondike.  Would you consider a
natural food diet?  Travis's and Sugar's, which is based mostly on 1/2 volume
brown rice with 1/4 volume frozen (then microwaved) or fresh veggies and 1/4
volume various proteins, is darned easy to prepare even if you both work.  You
just have to be willing to put up with a refrigerator jammed full of  pots of
food!
