Re: [PyrNet-L] knee problems
Hi Diana and Tara,
At this age, especially with Tara growing, there is a tendency for such
injuries. When Tanuki was about 6 months old, he became off in his right
front leg. When we took him to the vet, it seemed that his bones were
basically growing faster than the ligaments and tendons. We had to limit his
activity - no wild running and playing with the bigger pyrs, and had him on
Glycoflex 600 (given to us by the vet) for several months, and as he matured,
he became sound. Now, there's no sign that he had anything wrong. But, you
are correct in getting Tara to the vet. Best to have her checked out in case
there is something more serious going on.
Keep us posted - Robyn
