Will Phyllis think of her ill treatment as some sort of pruning, ready to
"die down" (sorry Phyllis) for Winter and to resprout in the Spring? Maybe
the dogs thought Phyllis was getting a bit scraggly and if their coats had
to come out then so should Phyllis's? I hope she recovers well.
