Re: [PyrNet-L] all-in-one worm/flea control preparations

Well, I asked the Dr I work for, and he said he had not heard of any such
cases of dogs becoming sterile from Sentinel or Program....

As far as the side effects of Revolution what I have been told (and mind you,
this was from a sales rep) is that "1/2 to 1% of animals experience mild
gastrointestinal upset, and that approximately 1% experience hair loss around
the site of application." But we see the hair loss with the advantage and
frontline too. It is usually caused by the alcohol content from what I
understand. But we still do not have all of the information in on it yet, it
is still very new, and like I said, we will not get our first batch untill
after January. What the rep told me was "The drug is absorbed systemicly and
goes through the blood to kill heartworm larvae and intestinal parasites,
then goes to the sebacious glands and is released to take care of fleas,
ticks, sarcoptes, and ear mites. And it is not broken down by the liver, so
it is safely absorbed and carried through the blood."
