Sorry if I came off a little (a lot?) brusque... I get a little "bent"
when I see unsupported statements, especially if it will make someone
stop giving their dogs some treatment where the gains far outweigh any
potential risk - such as heartworm treatment.

Not at all - to avoid me going ballistic perhaps make it a question and
not a statement? I will also try to be a little more diplomatic next
time... (slapping myself on the wrist).

I would still be interested in what your reproductive specialist can
say to back it up - if this is an observation, it should definitely be
pursued in some way. If nothing else, then at least a letter of
concern to the company (Pfizer?), asking them for their safety studies.
I searched Medline for any references on Ivermectin side effects and
found nothing other than neurological problems at serious overdoses.

If you want me to contact the specialist and ask about it, I'd be more
than happy to do so (send me the address/phone/email privately).

I will make a brief response to the other post on ivermectin during
pregnancy separately.

Take care, Patric
