[PyrNet-L] Weight
I m wondering if someone could tell me if it is common for pyrs, as they
reach 5 years old, to start eating more? Sebastian will be 5 in Feb. and in
the last 3 weeks has decided he wants breakfast. He never ate it before, in
fact is not a big eater at all.I would say he averaged 2 cups of dry a day,
with some kind of meat etc mixed in with it.He weighed about 113. Lean, but
not skinny. He also gets walked ALOT so I figured this was a good weight. Now,
he has been eating all his breakfast (1-1/2 cups dry mixed with cottage
cheese) and dinner later. He was weighed yesterday and weighed 120. Vet said
he wants him to stay at that weight, which I think means smaller meals but he
eats so little anyway---at least I think he does--How much do your pyrs eat?
I also has posted an earlier note on a limp Sebastian has.Vet does not know
what it is and put him on Rimadyl for 10 days then if no improvement-on to
x-rays. Thanks all. Jill
