What does everyone have for a traditional New Years meal? 

Here in the Deep Southeastern United States (Georgia) we have:

Greens (Mustard, Collard, Turnip or any combination there of)
Black Eyed peas
Corn Bread 
and any meat usually Ham or Pork.

This insures good luck and wealth the next year.  Black eyed peas represent 
Penny's and the greens represent Dollars.  The more you eat the more Penny's 
and Dollars you have (gas too, Opps)
