Pam, according to the Dec. 1998 issue of Dog Fancy in which Pyrs. were
featured, Blue eyes occur in the breed, like dysplasia, dwarfism,
problems with anesthesia etc. Like most animals with white coats, when
they have blue eyes you have to consider deafness. So the pups probably
are purebred ( unless you have another reason to think otherwise. And
this just occurs. Good luck, and it may give you something to watch for.
