Stephanie. It has been my experience that most dogs shed out
around their birthdays. Each year. Anesthesia has the added bonus
of causing the coat to "blow". Or perhaps it is the stress of the
surgery and being in the hospital overnight. Chel was spayed just
recently. She was just about naked for the last 2 months. Her
coat is finally starting to come back in. Worst coat blow I've
ever seen with her. Probably a combo of coming out of season, her
birthday and the spay.
