Great that you took in this guy, Teresa.  If it looks like playing, it
probably is! You'd know if they got serious. Pyrs play in all kinds of
different ways. Our two do lots of chasing, hide-and-seek, wrestling where
they take turns being on the ground on their backs, standing at a distance
staring at each other then leaping towards one another; they're totally
entertaining to each other and to us. By the time you and Jasmine have had
this boy for a while, if he's as friendly and playful as he sounds, you'll
not want to let him go!
I'd say you're doing the right things. You might call any local
pounds/rescue agencies to see if any dogs have been reported missing, and
taking him to see you vet is a good idea ASAP.
