I really can't say why the GPCA's membership policies are what they are.

However, I would encourage anyone interested to join their local Pyr
club, most of which have less lengthy membership requirements.

And I'll also use this opportunity to remind all Pyr lovers that
nonmembers are welcome to subscribe to the GPCA Bulletin. Subscription
is $30 per year (6 issues). For more info, feel free to e-mail me
