About a year ago, there was the major insurance companies published a list of 
"uninsurable" dogs.  People who owned these particular breeds of dogs were 
more likely to have problems getting homeowners insurance.  Included on this 
list were huskies, rotties, and dobies.  The Pyr wasn't on this list.  Nice 
to see the insurance people are on our side for once <VBG>
