[PyrNet-L] Re: Gracie girl
Wow Marie!! I just put two and two together and it adds up .........You were
the person that took her from Lois and into Georgia! I can never thank you
enough, an incredible journey. She is like one of my natural born children
now. Actually, my kid is adopted too. I will have to get the photo's and
get them on a website pronto so you can see her. I will send you one offlist
now, Marie, she is a beauty. She is way, way whiter, as she has had two baths
due to this yeast stuff. Her skin was rotting in places. I am glad she is
out of the intense heat. Here in the mountains it is a bit cooler, and I
live in the woods so lots of shade outdoors. I also have a small childs
swimming pool I change the water in every day for Sir Nigel of Truffles and
the dogs to get in if they get hot. My pot belly piggy SNOT (see above name)
cannot sweat, so he has to be able to get in it. Mostly, the dogs are in the
house and all only go out to pee or play with me. Good ol' central air. She
is some better than she was, slept all night and my husband got her to eat a
little this morning. It will probably take a week to ten days for this to
heal, at least the area looks pink now instead of necrotic black in color.
Thank you all for your concern and suggestions offlist even. This is really
a nice supportive group.
