I have also noticed that they always walk through the puddles rather than
around them. Sometimes Pico makes me think of a little boy stomping his way
through the puddles on his way home from school. If I bought him a yellow
rain slicker and hat it would complete the picture.
While I was writing about Pico, he evidently decided that I was way too
engrossed in what I was doing and thought he could get away with swiping a
stick of butter off the counter top. He might have gotten away with it if he
had not gone bouncing by with that 'hey - I got something I shouldn't have'
stride with his tail in the air. I got up and chased him around the coffee
table a few times only stopping to laugh because the butter was melting in
his mouth and dripping out onto the carpet. I guess it is time to break in
that new rug cleaner.
