I have also noticed that they always walk through the puddles rather than 
around them. Sometimes Pico makes me think of a little boy stomping his way 
through the puddles on his way home from school. If I bought him a yellow 
rain slicker and hat it would complete the picture.

While I was writing about Pico, he evidently decided that I was way too 
engrossed in what I was doing and thought he could get away with swiping a 
stick of butter off the counter top. He might have gotten away with it if he 
had not gone bouncing by with that 'hey - I got something I shouldn't have' 
stride with his tail in the air. I got up and chased him around the coffee 
table a few times only stopping to laugh because the butter was melting in 
his mouth and dripping out onto the carpet. I guess it is time to break in 
that new rug cleaner.
