At my house there is my boy Beau, my smaller dog Tyler, two parrots, and
three cats. And the person that runs the house with an iron fist in a velvet
paw is my smallest cat. My little female pixiebob named Bella Donna. She has
the two boy cats cleaning her and the dogs defer to her authority. Beau will
step over the male cats. He goes around Bella! she would not tolerate being
treated like that and he knows it. So no, size definitely does not an alpha
make.
