Yes, I agree with Jan.  While in Germany and Switzerland I visited several
cafes/restaurants that allowed patrons with dogs.  The dogs were incredibly
well behaved, well-loved by the customers and management, and were given
their own water bowls, etc.  Of course, I never had to watch how the dog
lovers handled certain necessities...

this was before I had my first Pyr...  While I had difficulty imagining
either of my other two dogs behaving properly in these restaurants, it
becomes even harder to imagine Bonnie (pyr) there!  Still, it was really
nice to see how well accepted the dogs were into the normal atmosphere of
the places we visited (and I'll never give up on the possibility of taking
mine to one of these places).
