[pyrnet] kids v dogs

The one thing I loved in Holland Kim was dogs being allowed into cafes,
restaurants and to stay in hotels. I was fascinated by this and seeing half
a doz cockers tied to the legs of the table and all well behaved! Had
visions of my lot in there but taking table with them.  Shared my breakfast
with an elderly Afghan who would wait for me in the dining room each
morning. Such perfect manners.  Yes there's a lot to be said re behaviour of
dogs and children in public places but it depends on the parents and owners
I suppose.  On the other hand I wasn't scraping piles of child pooh off my
boots like I was with the doggy pooh!!
