Hi Phil! Maybe you should try some Rescue Remedy for you Maia. It is an
herbal flower essence that comes as  liquid with a dropper. It is good for
anxiety and fear and may help. And is easy to administer with the dropper. I
use it on my boy Beau when he goes to the groomers. You should be able to
find it at your local health food store.
Marie and Beau
