Re: [pyrnet] Re: Grooming fee

Robyn,

I'm in Maryland, minutes from D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis. We don't
always get snow in the winter but it get's pretty cold. Last year we saw
quite a bit of snow. We measured one snowfall at 14 inches! Daisy loved
it!

PetsMart had the cheapest price I could find for even just a bath. Some of
the "boutiques" in the area wanted anywhere from $60 to $100. Washing dogs
in my tub is a real pain because of the layout of the bathroom. The toilet
is right next to the tub, blocking easy access to the faucet and also, we've
got sliding glass doors instead of a shower curtain. The last time I tried
bathing a dog in the tub, I ended up just getting in too and shutting the
doors! The Fosters & Smith catalogue sell a free-standing tub for big dogs.
It comes with a hose/shower to be hooked up to a faucet, and a hose to let
the tub drain outside. I'm thinking about getting one for the winter
months. My laundry room has a bare cement floor and a utility sink. It
just might work out well.
