Re: [pyrnet] Bath Question

<<Bridget, I don't remember the brand names offhand for the self rinse
shampoo, but I do know that PetSmart carries one or two brands. Just check
out the shampoo shelf or ask them. Hopefully they'll know! Some also call it
waterless shampoo, and it is usually blue or purple, just make sure you
dilute it about half and half with water.>>Barb Bowes

I have one here that I bought recently to try out - brand name 'Plush Puppy'
(have NO idea if it is available anywhere else!) that I have found quite
useful for pre-show touch-ups. Yes, it is blue in colour :-)

Actually used it to clean Milou up totally before a show the other day. I
got home at 11pm after having to work my butt off unexpectedly in the
evening (WHY do these politicians always want their speeches written at 5pm
on a Friday? :-/) and it was too cold (and I was too tired) to do a full
wash. Just put some in a bucket of warm water, soaked a towel in the bucket
and then rubbed her down. Followed it up with a dry off with more towels
and potato flour then brushed her out in the morning when she was totally
dry. A good result :-)

A tip from another Pyr owning friend of mine though - she suggested that I
save my money and buy Johnson & Johnsons suds free baby shampoo. It too is
blue in colour and apparently works just as well for a cheaper price. I
think I will be checking it out :-).
