I am thinking it won't take a male as long to recover b/c

Generally the boys bounce back pretty quickly. The only trouble I ever
encountered was with a newly neutered foster pyr. And that is because the
person who pulled him did not have his stitches removed when they should
have been and it got a little infected. I took him into my vet and they
fixed him right up.

My boy Beau absolutely adores children. In fact I have yet to meet a pyr who
did not like little people. I know what you mean about them being like a big
white throw rug! LOL! I just step over Beau if I need to get past him when
he is snoozing.
