[pyrnet] Re:dog fight

Jan,

Thanx for responding. What exactly is a "dog ranger" and where can I get
one? LOL Anyway, to the point, I am pretty much stuck here in the
neighborhood. I am walking two dogs, as I also have a jack russell mix. We
walk early in the morning..around 5am....for the poop thing as Ki will not
go poop in his home. Also for exercise. I walk again in the
evening.....and then run with him alone later in the evening around 8 or 9.
I haven't had any problems then, not to say I won't but as I said I stay in
a two block radius of the house on streets where I know the people and the
animals. But with wandering dogs anything could happen. Do you have any
advice for me on how to handle Ki if we did meet a dog and there ensued a
fight? I have read about grabbing the hind legs and pulling up so the dog
is wheel barrowing....but frankly would be afraid to reach in unless
completely sure not to get bitten. This is my formost ? of the moment...Any
HELP would be welcome. Thanx to those who have responded to my emails with
some very helpful advice. It is what I came to this site for in the first
place.
