Julie, this may be true in most breeds, but there are some breeds where
problems are more specific.  Nothing is absolute, and you may do fine. 
But it will pay you to take heed as you try to work this situation out. 
Don't become compliant or over confident.  It only takes one time to lead
to a dead dog.  You asked, and people are giving you advice based upon
what they know to be true.  If this works out, that is great.  Just be
