Sandy, have you ever read the book " Dogs Never Lie About Love".  It
might give you another side to look at besides being heavy into the Alpha
thing.  Humans often get too carried away with this notion, in my
opinion.  It is one thing not to be afraid of a dog.  I've lived with
them all my life, and I am not.  But dogs don't necessarily think of us
as another dog, they are capable of seeing us as something else.   Their
relationship between themselves is different to their relationship with
me or the rest of the bareskins in the house.   Good book, no matter what
you come away with, from reading it.  Cindy
