Re: [pyrnet] Camping Photos

Sandy!

It's true! Daisy is alpha and then some! For the first few blocks of our
evening walk, she carries her tail not so much curled, but up like a flag.
We say she's like a galleon in full sail ;-) Otherwise, it's usually down
(and she plods like a draft horse). The only time Badger's tail is down is
when we're rubbing his ears and then he's putty in our hands

Thanks to everyone, Marie, Thea, for the kind comments. I really am a proud
pyr mom. Of course that has nothing to do with all the "oooohs" and
"aaahhhs" we get when we're out with them ;-) And aren't pyrs great for
starting up conversations with strangers? On the trip up we stopped for
sodas and to let the dogs stretch their legs. A lady pulled up next to us
to ask if they were pyrs. She said she has one but has never met anyone
else with pyrs. I should have told her about pyrnet but I didn't think of
it at the time. She asked if my pyrs suffered memory and hearing loss when
they're off the leash, which they do. I told her it's fairly typical of the
breed. I think she feels better now that she knows it's not just her pyr in
particular.
