Brandi,

Go the the GPCA website http://clubs.akc.org//gpca/index.html .  There's a
ton of information.  Particulary go to the section called Breed Information
and read the article on Buying a Puppy.  There is a direct link there to
Kerry Woods and if you email her she will send you a packet of information
that includes a breeders list.  While you are at the website, plese take
time to the read the GPCA Code of Ethics, particularly the sections on
Breeding and Sales.  This details what is expected of breeder/members of
the GPCA.  Yes, it's true that not everyone lives up to this, but it will
provide you a baseline against which you can compare answers that you get
from breeders.

Above all, take your time.  Yes, it may be hard to wait, but a sick dog is
a lifetime of grief and an uncaring breeder is worse.
