Kendra, don't panic, Slip collars are still in use, and Pyrs. are still
alive.  If unattended, the fear is choking, or in the hands of someone
abusive they could injure the throat.  Of course in those same hands just
about anything but a breakaway collar could be.  I think Halti's are a
great concept in leading a dog gently.  But unlike on a 1,000 horse, in
the wrong hands, someone snapping a dog around by his head and muzzle
cannot be a good thing either.  At any rate, don't panic.   Cindy
