        If the swelling does not go down significantly in about 10 days after 
neuter, take the dog back to the vet.   I am assuming you already had him 
checked for infection.  Take his temperature and check his gums for color.  
As for anesthesia, I believe ISO Gas is what I would use on mine.  The Pyrs 
have a slow metabolism and this would be safest.  Good luck to you, its so 
hard to have faith in vets these days.  My friend had her cat spayed $140.00 
just 8 months ago and the cat had 7 kittens last week.  
Unbelievable........wonder what they took out?  Jeesh.........
