     Another problem is that if a neighbor does not care for you, they will
not even bother to check out whose dog is barking before they accuse yours.
I have a couple neighbors like that and every so often you might get the
chance for sweet  revenge as I did.  Just over a month ago, the dog officer
came to my house because a neighbor called to complain about the barking.
Problem was I was leaving for a trip the next morning and my dogs were in a
kennel 10 miles away.  Dog officer proceeded to go to neighbor and tell him
that my dogs were not even at home--- and he should ascertain who to blame
next time before he calls to complain.
      This same neighbor a while back called to complain aabout my dogs
barking one morning, an hour before we were even out of bed---  one dog was
snuggling with me and the other sleeps behind my door on the floor.
Needless to say this complainer is well known to the police and dog officer.
