Re: [pyrnet] Parade News

Calysto, Kemosabi here! I was chosen to write since I have the most
delicate paws of the five of us here. I'm a "petite Pyr. " We all loved
hearing about your day and the parade!

Reading about your "wasted" time at the groomers had us all barking our
protest. Our Mom was really annoyed to think that you would be made to
sit that long and then have nothing done. Did they really charge you for
doing nothing??? We agreed that we would have been rattling our cage, if
it had been us. It is a good thing that we Pyrs. can brush up so clean
and look "spiffy" real quick in a pinch. Some dogs just can't pull that
off as well, poor dears.

I bet it was fun meeting the other Pyrs. and their people, too bad there
wasn't more of them there to make a real big showing. But it does sound
like you got some tips on where you might have been from. I bet that
made your Mom happy to think she had something to follow up on! I think
your Mom is like your Dad in her desire to be a "defective" and get to
the bottom of things. Bet she will be like a Pyr. with it's nose to the
ground, going after this lead! Too bad our humans don't have our noses,
sometimes they can seem so "handicapped", don't you think? Of course,
that's why they need us in the first place I guess, sigh, someone has to
help them with their limitations.

I'm sorry the other folks did not appreciate Phobos as they should have.
After all, if your French and have double dews, you would think they
would have cut him some slack. Maybe you should have bought some of that

fake sheepskin material and covered him in that? Could have passed him
off, or at the very least made it look like they were all guarding a
sheep with "red stockings". Or is he one of those fancy colored
Beaucy's, Mom can't remember. Frankly Mom is having a lot of those
"memory-pause" moments....we worry about her! It is probably a good
thing Gulliver came along, some days it takes all five of us to keep her
in line and doing the important stuff!

Anyway, we sure enjoyed hearing all about your day. Thank you for taking
the time from your busy day ( we do have it rough don't we, keeping our
people in line ) to tell us about it. We want to go and be in a parade,
it sounds like fun. All that petting, we love that stuff...goood deal!

Have a good day! Kemosabi and all the gang ( Ranger, Silver, Polar Bear,
Gulliver and Su-Ling ). Shadow went to live with Kendra in a "partment"
in the big city. Yucky...
city dog...boo hiss, she has to be real quiet...can you imagine?
