Welcome, John!

You have the type of "farm" that David and I have -- a small hand of heavy
breed chickens, 4 geese, 4 indoor and 3 outdoor cats, 2 Oberhasli goats
(wethers -- we use to breed Obis and Nubians), a horse, and an older border
collie along with our 4 Pyrs.  Funny, I have always liked the BMDs as my
"second choice".  

We have one of our Pyrs and the border collie out with the goats.  He has
always been around them, and is proving to be an excellent guardian.  Often
times we'll find him laying out in the pasture, not far from where the
goats are grazing.  Sometimes, when the chickens are out in their run, he
will lay down by the hen house -- just watching.
