Chrissy,  You're not alone in your feelings.  Here in the "South", this is
the general impression most of those "yankees" have of us.  Hey, I know --
I'm a PA Dutch(wo)man, who now is a southern "lass" <G>.  West Virginia
doesn't have a monopoly on BYB or people who don't care for their dogs. 
South Carolina has it's fair share too.  BTW -- I know a breeder from WV
who has some very nice Pyrs.
