This was one of the first things I thought of.  The credit card company is
happy to help, and has sent us the forms to put the payment in "dispute" as
they call it.  However, we'll know Monday on BA's decision regarding
waiving penalty fees.  Seems we're not the only ones who are canceling our
flights.
