I have been following this in the papers and news in the US. At first, I was 
not aware of the impact this disease could have.  What a tragedy for the 
entire country, especially following so closely on the "mad cow" scare. 
Hopefully the quarantines will keep this from getting any worse and hasten 
the recovery.
