Re: [pyrnet] prozac for dogs

i'm sorry, i must have made it sound confusing...or maybe i'm
misunderstanding what you are saying. .i was talking about the st.johns wort
being the homeopathic remedy, not the prozac. i was just wondering if i
should try the prozac vs. the st johns wort.

my concern is that he's growled at me a couple of times and snapped once -
but out of shear fear. he didn't want to go outside or in (he was on an
inside porch) b/c of dogs on either side of the doors. when i tried to move
him he growled out of fear. when i fussed and went to reach for him, he
snapped. instead of yelling or hitting him, i instead sat down and told him
to come to me in a quiet voice...he then walked up and put his head in my
chest and curled up in my lap. that's the only reason i don't want to put
him down and want to try whatever i can. b/c it's total fear...not just
being hard to get along w/.
