At age 12, that would equate to an 84 year old human would it not? That is a
nice long time to remain healthy. Eventually something is going happen to all
of us and all of our animals, it is only a question of when. My wife's uncle
had prostate surgery six years ago at age 81. His doctor left the catheter in
for too long a period of time, and now he has to wear diapers. He regrets
ever having the surgery, and says that if given a second chance he would not
have it done.
